Happy New YEAR!

Okay, not quite yet for your curly wolf. Not for another hour in these parts.  That being said the new year is either upon or almost upon us. Stop your grinning and grab your linen cuz it's about to get as rough as cob.   *grrrrr*  I wonder if I could get off with justifiable homicide if I killed a number of my neighbors. Firing off fireworks at the turn of the new year is one thing. Firing them off from the time it gets dark til what will probably end up being the usual 2-3 is VERY pissed off making.

Remember. TANSTAAFL and..

Daily Kos :How to ban guns...

*headdesk. okay...lets look at the monkeys laugh and wave as they fling shit at us from the other side of the glass....

"Furthermore, there seems to be no talk about high powered rifles. What gun nuts don't want you to know is many target and hunting rifles are chambered in the same round (.223/5.56mm) that Lanza's assault weapon was."
No shit? really? well golly gee beaver! I'm really glad you told me this...I didn't know...*snort of derision*  No really sporky? it's what the gun owners have been TELLING you for years. It's not like it's a big secret you idiot.

"Even more guns are chambered for more powerful rounds, like the .30-06 or (my personal "favorite") 7.62x54R. Even a .22, the smallest round manufactured on a large scale, can kill easily. In fact, some say the .22 kills more people than any other round out there."

You have a real talent for stating the blindingly obvious Sporky, none of this is news. OTOH the other thing that isn't news is that you don't listen...your kind never do.
30-06 good big game hunting round. .22. good for target practice and just all around plinking fun.

"Again, I like that we're talking about assault weapons, machine guns, and high capacity clips. But it only takes one bullet out of one gun to kill a person. Remember the beltway sniper back in 2002? The one who killed a dozen odd people? Even though he used a bushmaster assault rifle, he only fired one round at a time before moving. He could have used literally any rifle sold in the US for his attacks."

And now boys and girls we're going to get to the heart of the matter...

"The only way we can truly be safe and prevent further gun violence is to ban civilian ownership of ALL guns. That means EVERYTHING. No pistols, no revolvers, no semiautomatic or automatic rifles. No bolt action. No breaking actions or falling blocks. Nothing. This is the only thing that we can possibly do to keep our children safe from both mass murder and common street violence."

The bolding emphasis and caps in that first two sentences are mine.  I did that because it's what I and others have been warning you about for YEARS! Decades even.  These people don't want "reasonable gun control", which is an oxy moron.  They want the complete elimination of the ownership of guns by civilians.  Which leaves the citizens completely defenseless, to criminals [remember when you need a cop right this second... they are only MINUTES away] and our own government.  These folks are under the delusion that taking guns out of the hands of citizens reduces crime. Newsflash...criminals don't obey the law. Yes criminals are sooo afraid of the law in Britain that  2 unarmed female officers were lured into an ambush in which they were shot and then finished with a GRENADE!

Yeah that gun control alleviating the violence problem really works...NOT.

"Unfortunately, right now we can't. The political will is there, but the institutions are not. Honestly, this is a good thing. If we passed a law tomorrow banning all firearms, we would have massive noncompliance. What we need to do is establish the regulatory and informational institutions first. This is how we do it:"

The political will is there?  *falls on the floor and rolls around giggling like a 3yr old being tickled...*
Ooops...sorry . That wasn't very dignified was it? Oh my god that was funny.   No you idiot...it's NOT. Why? because even most democrats know it would be political SUICIDE. They know they could then kiss all those cushy bennies they've become completely overly accustomed to would dry up in a New York minute; not to mention their jobs and munificent, and wholly unearned salaries..

"The very first thing we need is national registry. We need to know where the guns are, and who has them. Canada has a national firearms registry. We need to copy their model. We need a law demanding all firearms be registered to a national database. We need to know who has them and where they are. We need to make this as easy as possible for gun owners. The federal government provides the money and technical expertise, and the State police carry it out. Like a funded mandate. Most firearms already have a serial number on them, so it would really be a matter of taking the information already on the ATF form 4473 and putting it in a national database. I think about 6 months should be enough time."

Ahhh...ye olde national registry...what we who study history know to be the prelude to a grab of all guns...which of course is the course this mental midget is suggesting.

"Along with this, make private sales illegal. When a firearm is transferred, make it law that the registration must be updated. Again, make it super easy to do. Perhaps over, the internet. Dealers can log in by their FFLs and update the registration. Additionally, new guns are to be registered by the manufacturer. The object here is to create a clear paper trail from factory to distributor to dealer to owner. We want to encourage as much voluntary compliance as possible."

Sporky thinks compliance would be voluntary? Oh how naive. Among a VERY small portion maybe. By and large though most gun owners will probably tell you to go fuck yourself with a razor wire dildo.

"Now we get down to it. The registration period has passed. Now we have criminals without registered guns running around. Probably kooky types that "lost" them on a boat or something. So remember those ATF form 4473s? Those record every firearm sale, going back twenty years. And those have to be surrendered to the ATF on demand. So, we get those logbooks, and cross reference the names and addresses with the new national registry. Since most NRA types own two or (many) more guns, we can get an idea of who properly registered their guns and who didn't. For example, if we have a guy who purchased 6 guns over the course of 10 years, but only registered two of them, that raises a red flag."

Yes because anyone who wants to own more than one or two guns is a criminal and must be punished for doing absolutely nothing.

"Now, maybe he sold them or they got lost or something. But it gives us a good target for investigation. A nice visit by the ATF or state police to find out if he really does still have those guns would be certainly warranted. It's certainly not perfect. People may have gotten guns from parents or family, and not registered them. Perfect is the enemy of pretty darn good, as they say. This exercise isn't so much to track down every gun ever sold; the main idea would be to profile and investigate people that may not have registered their guns. As an example, I'm not so concerned with the guy who bought that bolt action Mauser a decade ago and doesn't have anything registered to his name. It's a pretty good possibility that he sold it, gave it away, or got rid of it somehow. And even if he didn't, that guy is not who I'm concerned with. I'm concerned that other guy who bought a half dozen assault weapons, registered two hunting rifles, and belongs to the NRA/GOA. He's the guy who warrants a raid."

Ahh see...that latter statement is going to get junior into lots  of trouble because he obviously hasn't heard the news that since Sandy Hook...the NRA has been fielding about 8000 new memberships PER DAY.  Why? because these folks can see the writing on the wall ,in blood as it were.

"So registration is the first step. Now that the vast majority are registered, WE CAN DO WHAT WE WILL.  One good first step would be to close the registry to new registrations. This would, in effect, prevent new guns from being made or imported. This would put the murder machine corporations out of business for good, and cut the money supply to the NRA/GOA. As money dries up, the political capital needed for new controls will be greatly reduced.
There are a few other things I would suggest. I would suggest an immediate, national ban on concealed carry. A ban on internet sales of guns and ammunition is a no brainer. Microstamping would also be a very good thing. Even if the only thing it does is drive up costs, it could still lead to crimes being solved. I'm willing to try every advantage we can get.
A national Firearms Owner Identification Card might be good, but I'm not sure if it's necessary if we have a national database. We should also insist on comprehensive insurance and mandatory gun safes, subject to random, spot checks by local and federal law enforcement."

None of this...not a single solitary WORD of it.....is legal under The U.S. or most STATE Constitutions, but hey...Sporky don't care as long as he has his right to free speech, to spew his abject stupidity.  Sigh.......Sporky, Sporky, Sporky...without the 2nd amendment ie guns...there IS no rest of the Constitution, so you can just kiss your right to free speech goodbye.   Ignorant little git.

"We must make guns expensive and unpopular, just like cigarettes. A nationwide, antigun campaign paid for by a per gun yearly tax paid by owners, dealers, and manufacturers would work well in this regard. We should also segway into an anti-hunting campaign, like those in the UK. By making hunting expensive and unpopular, we can make the transition to a gun free society much less of a headache for us."

Yeah like THAT worked.  It created a HUGE black market in cigarettes you pustulant little pissant.  By the way Sporky...most people who own guns..OBJECT to new taxes...so I doubt they are gonna sit still for a yearly penalty tax to be paid by them because they choose to exercise their god given, Constitutionally protected, right to bear arms.  And if you think your "gun free utopia" is going to be., welllll...utopic...then you are going to be sadly mistaken little worm.

"
I know this seems harsh, but this is the only way we can be truly safe. I don't want my kids being shot at by a deranged NRA member. I'm sure you don't either. So lets stop looking for short term solutions and start looking long term. Registration is the first step.
Tell Pres. Obama and democrats in congress to demand mandatory, comprehensive gun registration. It's the only way we can ban guns with any effectiveness."

Harsh he calls it.  I'd say it leads to the complete destruction of our nation, but hey! What do I know..I'm just a guy who studied and understood more history, in a relatively short period, than these people suggesting this stupidity have ever, or will ever study in their entire lives.

Don't you just love the jabs at the NRA like it's an EVIL organization bent on domination?  If I suggested the same thing of say...a gay rights groups...the screams of indignity would blow your ears off. Plus, I'd be willing to bet so would the calls of  "gay hater" and inevitably, almost assuredly so would the death threats.  Look at the the comment sections of facebook pages, news websites, blogs and twitter after the Sandy Hook Tragedy...the calls for death to all guns owners, "maybe we should kill all the NRA members" etc etc ad nauseum...flowed across the internet in a tidal wave of abject stupidity, and blind, festering hatred.   And everyone saying that was all, ALL liberals. You know those people who supposedly hate racism but are the first to call anyone who disagrees with them racist? You know...these people who are supposedly so tolerant and welcoming of discussion, but the minute you interject facts they call names, delete posts and block accounts?  You know...these supposedly peaceful *snort* people...who are always the first to call for the death of the opposing side, of having the GOVERNMENT disarm everyone by force and killing us, the gun owners, the 2nd amendment supporters, the believers in the Constitution and limited government?  The irony and hypocrisy is staggering ain't it boys and girls?

Oooops almost forgot...here's the link to the article.  Notice I didn't even bother with the first paragraph of it.

Gen Norman Schwarzkopf

It is with sadness and regret.  that I tell you that we have lost General Norman Schwarzkopf today at the age of 78 in Tampa, Florida.  General Schwarzkopf was the commander of the coalition forces that successfully prosecuted the First Gulf War to drive Iraq out of Kuwait, in 1991.

He will be missed by all, by the soldiers he commanded, by the citizens like me who respected him for his service, but by none more so than his family.  Keep them in your thoughts and prayers this day.

Goodbye General...you have the thanks and blessings of a still greatful nation.

My annual Twas the Night Before Christmas post...

The...warped version...

Twas the night before christmas
and all through the house,
everybody felt shitty.
Even the mouse.

Mom at the whorehouse
and dad smoking grass;
I'd just settled down
for a nice piece of ass.

When out on the lawn
there arose such a clatter.
I sprang from my piece,
to see what was the matter.

Then up on the roof
came the smell of deer shit.
I knew in a heartbeat,
it must be St Nick.

He dropped down the chimney
like a bat out of hell.
I knew by the cussing
that the fucker had fell.

He stuffed all our stockings
with pretzel and beer;
and a big rubber dick
for my brother the queer.

He shot up the chimney
with a thunderous fart.
The Son of a Bitch
blew the chimney apart!

He swore and he cursed
as he rode out of sight;
"Piss on you all and,"
"have a hell of a night!"

EXCELLENT article on the illogic of banning guns

By one of my favorite authors...Larry Correia.  Here's the article on why banning guns is illogical and stupid. Why it just won't work

Read it and pass it on as I have.

Frelling Cool!

Ladies and gents?  Ever heard of the group of hackers that call themselves Anonymous?  They just basically declared war on the Westboro Baptist Church because of the WBC's  announcement that all those kids were killed by god as punishment or some shit.  *headdesk, headdesk, headdesk*

This was posted by Anonymous today...

Honestly?  I don't agree with a lot of Anonymous in the past. In this one though I wish them well.   WBC is a boil on the body of humanity that has been in need of lancing, for years.

So to  Westboro I say...Burn Baby Burn.  To Anonymous I say...I wish you well in this and success in the WBC's destruction.

Another one..

Sigh...shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut.  My thoughts go out to the families.
And now the recriminations and the calls for 1. gun control[you people just don't get it]
2. banning of all guns [neither do you]
3. closing down public schools[mental defectives],
4. Using extreme security measures that in some cases already exist in the schools...to "protect" our young.  Uhmmm lets see, we have guards, metal detectors at the doors and dogs that do random sweeps for drugs, in the schools of major cities already.  It isn't working, won't work, is proven ineffective and you idiot's solution is to add MORE restrictions to this? *headdesk*   To turn our SCHOOLS into de facto PRISONS for our young? *headdesk, headdesk, headdesk*

I get tired of pointing this out but these things happen invariably in "Gun Free Zones" where those who WOULD be armed, are DISARMED...making them unable to defend themselves and their fellow human beings. Turning them into cattle packed into pens awaiting slaughter.  Herd Animals.
Human beings are not meant to be HERD animals. Herd animals get killed because they can't defend themselves. If you want to use an animal analogue to what we are..we are..pack animals, like wolves. Or lone hunters like the Big Cats and the Falcons and Hawks.  We're armed. We are THE Apex predator on this planet. We can out think, out kill and out run, with our inventions called automobiles, planes and trains...any other animal on this planet.

Yet...some seem to have this driving need, out of some..misplaced sense of assumed group guilt, or some misguided need to make us "better" and make us in effect LESS than what we are.  It drives me nuts.

A very cogent observation..

In a discussion upon one of the forums I belong too., one of the replies has to do with "compromise" in politics.  No as a matter of fact, in politics the liberal definition of compromise has absolutely nothing to do with the real definition of compromise.   See Republicans have been "compromising" for so long they don't recognize the actual definition either. What compromise means is that the two sides meet, a proposal or two is made and they meet somewhere in the middle.

A friend on the forum said "uh uh" and put it this way ...The liberal idea of "compromise" is to take a position so extreme it's ridiculous, they then haggle back and forth for a while with republicans and then agree to a compromise, that is in fact, what they wanted all along.

Or to put it in my own colorful vernacular...and yes I'm quoting myself. "Focus!  The liberal idea of compromise is to take an extremely insane position that no one in their right mind would agree to. They then wait for the IDIOTS in the Republican party to "offer" a compromise and then after a little bit of dickering back and forth graciously *snort* agree to the compromise. Meanwhile the Repubs say they kept the Liberals to only taking an inch when in fact they just GAVE the liberals a mile and a fucking half! "  That boys and girls to put it even more succinctly is NOT compromising...THAT is  voluntarily bending over and taking it up the ass without lube!   Which is why my invariable reply to a liberal who suggests a "reasonable" compromise in the last couple years is "do the letters, F.O. mean anything to you?"

The Republitwits have "compromised" so much in the last couple of decades, they don't even recognize their core values anymore or know how to live by them, let alone uphold them.
