Okay Okay!

Because SOMEONE who shall remain nameless is nagging me about it...

Here's a list of books I read or have read that I enjoyed. Note they are all pretty much Sci-fi or fantasy and some  fiction.
Lets see...
Babylon Steel by Gaie Sebold. new author REALLY like this one. Hope she does more.
The Guardians of the Flame series by Joel Rosenberg. starts with The Sleeping Dragon
Paladins and Paladins II also by Joel Rosenberg...damn I miss that man.
the Vatta's War books by by Elizabeth Moon. Starts with the novel Trading in Danger.
any book by Mike Resnick
everything that has been written by John Ringo
everything written by Michael Z. Williamson.
Out of the Dark by David Weber
anything ever written by Robert Anson Heinlein.
The Titus Crow trilogy by Brian Lumley.
the Necroscope series by Brian Lumley
Demogorgon by Brian Lumley
The half life chronicles by Wm. Mark Simmons. starts with One Foot in the Grave.
The Redemption of Althalus by David and Leigh Eddings.
The Belgariad and it's follow upThe Mallorean series by David Eddings.
The Elenium trilogy and it's follow up Domes of Matherion by David Eddings..

Right now I'm reading every Warhammer 40000 novel I can get my paws on.

the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwell.
the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. starts with Eragon.
Anything and everything by Tom Kratman there's the Carrera books which stars with A Desert Called Peace, There's the Countdown novels that starts with the Countdown novel subtitled The Liberators.
The Vorkosigan saga books by Lois McMaster Bujold. It starts with Cordeila's Honor.
Monster Hunter International and it's follow on books by Larry Correia.
the old Pandora books by Christopher Anvil...assuming you can find them. Baen publishing put them all together in one novel but I forget what it's called right now. Pandora's Legions...I think.
The Regiment trilogy by John Dalmas. If you can find it that one exists in an Omnibus book form. all 3 in one binding.
Dipped, Stripped and Dead by Elise Hyatt...there's 2 follow on novels but I won't bother listing them..you can look it up yourselves children.
Superior Position by Evan McNamara
8.4 by Peter Hernon.
Inda by Sherwood Smith. that one is a 4 book cycle that starts with the title I just gave you.
Wellll...that should get you started...enjoy!

  1. My copy of Monster Hunter: Legion is on it's way, and if you like Larry Correia (and let's be honest, who doesn't?) you would like his Spellbound series and the Dead Six novel he did with Mike Kupari. Plus, he's GI Joe's accountant. How cool is that?

  2. I read dead six when it came out...has all of the larry coreia's too...I do have ONE gripe though! I never got any patches:) GRRRRRR!

    1. yeah they are..I discovered them because of the movies..bought up all the ones that had been out to that point, and a couple after. I still have all the ones I've bought. While I haven't read them recently I refuse to get rid of them. Partially because should I give them up and find the hankering to read them again...they'd be a bitch to find and replace...especially the oldest ones.

    yeah,...I know..as a kid I never let go of a book I liked...then joined the navy...came back and found my dad sold or gave all my stuff away
    ten thousand plus books.
    I still have not forgave him for that.
    sometimes blood takes what you build..and just shits on it
    you know?
